Description
"Carry on at your Convenience" meets "InjuryLawyers4U"
Eleanor Bennet is...Stuck in Kansas! A side-splitting stand up show with a sitcom feel, two silly songs, and much much more!
'Tornados have struck Pratts Bottom South and a giant inflatable pirate is heading due East towards Little Hiccup at an estimated speed of 40mph! Three dentures, two hearing aids and a toupee have gone missing, and the fate of the fête hangs in the balance!
Featuring 'Emma' from the award winning 'Off her Trolley!' and introducing Mr James and his infamous 'pick-me stick,' join Eleanor (on the Tombola) for an hour of total daftness!'
This is Eleanor's 2nd show at the Edinburgh Fringe, 'Off her Trolley,' her first major project as both playwright and performer, premiered at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008 where it received excellent reviews. She has since toured extensively performing to sell-out audiences across the UK.
About Eleanor:
Eleanor's acting training began with a Performing Arts Foundation course at Kensington and Chelsea College, and continued, culminating in a Postgraduate Diploma in Theatre Practice, at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
Credits include 'Joyce,' in 'Top Girls,' 'Emma,' in 'Betrayal,' 'Greta' in Berkoffs 'Metamorphosis,' and 'Lady Wishfort,' in the boddice ripping 'The Way of the World'!
The comedy continued in her own production of 'Romeo and Juliet,' as 'Nurse.' Shortly afterwards she began writing her own material.
Eleanor premiered her first show as writer and performer at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 'Off her Trolley,' received excellent reviews. Subsequently she has since toured extensively with this popular show, and continues to give occasional performances.
Eleanor will be premiering her new standup/sketch show 'Eleanor Bennet is...Stuck in Kansas!' also at the Edinburgh Fringe before once again embarking on a UK tour.

Description
The Vault
The Vault opened in 2007 as a brand new performance space in the vaulted basements of Augustine United Church. A beautiful and atmospheric venue which is full of imaginative and unique theatre, The Vault and its new sister space The Annexe, opened last year, have become immensely popular venues for companies and audiences alike.
The architectural features of The Vault have been incorporated into the design, making it a one of its kind theatre - a must see visit during the festival. The permanent nature of the conversion means that facilities and comfort are of a standard not usually found in a Fringe Venue. The Annexe had success with sell out shows last year and we are looking forward to seeing the venue flourish again this year.
Although architecturally part of the same building as our Augustine's venue, owing to the idiosyncratic way Edinburgh's Old Town is built, The Vault has a completely different postal address and access. Tucked away next to the back entrance to the Sheriff's Courts, the Vault has a street level entrance and a lift for those patrons with reduced mobility. The Vault and The Annexe are truly intimate spaces which go straight to the heart of the Fringe.
The Vault Coffee Bar
